Established in 1993, Alpha Group Co., Ltd. (Alpha), has grown into one of China’s largest and most successful animation and entertainment groups. Since day one, we have adhered to a corporate philosophy of “Bring joy, wisdom & dream to the world”, constantly exceeding expectations by excelling in innovative development. On 10 September 2009, we publicly listed Alpha on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange under stock code: 002292. 

In building China’s leading pan-entertainment industry operating platform, we are committed to providing consumers with cutting-edge cultural and peripheral products and services. Leveraging a diversified interactive business model encompassing animation, movies, operas, consumer goods, games, theme parks, and culture and education, we integrate different industry resources to meet increasingly sophisticated consumer demand for cultural entertainment.


Alpha owns many popular animation brands and cartoon character resources in China. In addition to Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf, specific examples include Armor Hero, Balala The Fairies, Happy Friends, Super Wings and Backkom. Our three-dimensional communication resources and omni-media channels now include not only Jia Jia Cartoon Channel, which is one of the country’s five most popular cartoon satellites, but also various mobile phone animation platforms such as ikan and mhmp. We also work closely with leading national broadcasters like CCTV Children’s Channel, plus various influential print and new media (e.g. provincial satellite TV, cartoon channels, iQIYI and Letv). In harnessing every link from content to consumer, we are steadily delivering on our goal of building a solid foundation via which to maximize our brand value.

By leveraging “content as entry point while focusing on the industry chain”, we also became the first animation company to list on a Chinese stock market. Our core businesses include content production, media operation, brand licensing, animation toys, baby products and mobile phone games. We have also successfully branched out into movies, operas, theme parks and other interactive activities involving entertainment, consumer products, internet networks, culture and education. Our operations ultimately achieve cyclical development by creating a business model that truly integrates both cultural and industrial excellence.
